He Never Fails

...and every new day he does not fail... Zephania 3:5

Each moment is enough ~ enough to recognize my home.

Less time looking forward ~ more time looking for Him.

When I have no song to sing, I sing His
Sing, O Daughter of Zion;
shout aloud, O Israel!
Be glad and rejoice with all your
heart,
O Daughter of Jerusalem!

When I am alone, feeling unknown, He reminds me
Do not fear, O Zion;
do not let your hands hang limp.
The LORD your God is with you,
he is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
he will quiet you with his love,
he will rejoice over you with singing."

When I bend beneath the weight of frustration,
brittle pieces breaking free in words of anger,
scattering debris across the landscape of lives I cherish,
He restores me
Then will I purify the lips of the
peoples,
that all of them may call on the
name of the LORD
and serve him shoulder to
shoulder.

Beneath my bare feet the earth of the Desert is as holy as the earth of the Promised Land.

I have learned that in this life I will be moved between the Desert and the Promised Land. I arrived at my destination long ago. Him. I will dance on either side of the Jordan, for it's not where but with Whom I dance that my life is consumed with. Each moment is enough ~ and none that I deserve. His Grace ~

~To hold the hand of the man who holds my heart, to lie beside him, embraced by the warmth of his love and to be known
~To hold each child to my breast, to hold their hand and heart, to teach them that love embraces the easy and the hard, that God is the source of life and to set them free to live theirs
~To look inside another, to hear what they have not said, to offer what hope, joy, peace, love He pours from the Living Streams inside me
~an embrace, a smile, a tear shared, an "I-know-you" look when you've just met

I will rescue the lame
and gather those who have been
scattered.
I will give them praise and honor
in every land where they were put
to shame.
At that time I will gather you;
at that time I will bring you
home.

Each moment is enough. I find Him in the present-future, my home now and my home to come.
He never fails, Favored One. I will bring you home.
