Remembering Silly

I don't remember
 teaching them
 to be silly~
 I think they
 are teaching me
to remember~
Joy can always be found.  Sometimes you just have to rediscover the game of "hide and seek."  Knowing there is treasure and having the desire to dig it up - now that's a good way to spend the day.  Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.  1 Timothy 6:17

#117-128

117 - Day 5 of sunshine!!!
118 - serving breakfast to Wounded Warriors
119 - 30 minute conversations in the parking lot
120 - 45 minute conversations in the secretary's office
121 - 2 hour conversations over lunch with a friend
122 - boys getting muddy at "the pond"
123 - pj's, pizza, my blue polka-dot robe, and Apollo 13 with Ben and Sam
124 - an insatiable need to write
125 - a week of 11:00 PM beginning writing hours
126 - friends to surround a son that grieves
127 - knowing "real hard" is part of "real joy"
128 - silly pictures, and children that help me remember to always seek joy

Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.  In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.  1 Timothy 6:18

My man will be home from Texas soon.  Then I'll return to reasonable bedtimes and wonder when writing will fit in my schedule.  I'm waiting on Him as He brings me into the fire; He will refine me like silver and test me like gold.  I hope the treasure on the other side of the fire is spent in part on the task of word-crafting.  I really do come to know Jesus better the more I write.  Have you taken any silly pictures lately, Favored One?  It's a great way to remember God richly provides us with everything for our enJOYment!

Love you!
