You would think after twenty moves in my twenty-three years of marriage I would be quite confidant with the process.
No, seriously, that was to make me laugh and to make you aware that though I'm very capable of packing up entire households, transporting them from one side of the country or world, and setting up home wherever we've signed our name on the dotted lease line, this moving blog addresses is a whole new game.
And considering it has taken me two months since I started the move I guess I can confess the moving manual seemed to be written in a foreign language.
But I'm trying to apply the excitement I have every time we make a physical move and looking forward to the adventure of setting up in a brand new community.
I just wanted to let you know.
So you would be patient if the curtains aren't all hung.
And the yard gets over-looked while I unpack boxes.
And if I move the furniture around for a couple of months until everything looks just right.
I might have a friend or two stop by and help with decorating.
And I might go out and make a few purchases that will be just right for the new home.
But mostly I'm letting you know because ~
I don't want to lose contact with you, Dear Favored One, just because I'm moving.
I just wanted you to know my new address.
And let you know you are welcome there anytime.
I'm hoping to move the last of the boxes from this sweet space, my first home, in the next few days. I hope you'll come visit soon at Favored One.
My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest.
