I Remember You

I remember You
Faithfully You come,
everyday,
whispering the story of our lives,
together,
drawing me into
its beauty
its pain
its joy
its promise,
until the Light flickers
in my eye,
and I see You.
My soul remembers,
and I gather,
with insatiable hunger
for the Mystery,
Manna.
Just for this day.
Enough of the Bread of
Life
to fill me this day,
to keep the Light
in my eyes.
I know You.
I remember.
You did this.

"You turned my wailing into
dancing;
you removed my sackcloth and
clothed me with joy,
that my heart may sing to you and not
